welcome
Welcome to North Dakota PTA!

The ND PTA works to further the well-being of children and youth in our State.

The North Dakota Congress of Parents and Teachers (NDPTA) was founded in 1920 to further the well-being of children and youth in North Dakota.  The NDPTA serves as a link between the National PTA and local units.

The Mission of the North Dakota PTA is:
    1.  To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools
         and before governmental agencies and other organizations that
         make decisions affecting children;
    2.  To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and
         protect their children, and;
    3.  To encourage parent and public involvement in schools.

The NDPTA is governed by volunteer officers and committee chairs.  Officers are elected annually at our state convention.  Chairmen may be elected or appointed, depending on the position. If you are interested in a leadership position or would like to contact an officer of committe chair, please click on the link below.
